Village in the Shade Deluxe Edition for Nintendo Switch is an original cozy life simulation with elements of Japanese horror, folklore, and yōkai mythology. Farm the land, raise animals, fish, and uncover the unsettling secrets of a nostalgic Japanese village. The edition includes the game, a digital soundtrack, and a mini artbook.
Set out into the peaceful world of Village in the Shade, where you can build a life at your own pace in the Japanese countryside. Tend to your farm, fish in quiet waters, and get to know the village residents. Beneath the idyllic surface, however, strange events, mysterious rules, and secrets gradually emerge, disrupting the seemingly ordinary daily life.
The game combines a relaxing life simulation with a slowly building horror atmosphere.
