The RainPoint HCS044FRF wireless rain sensor is a smart solution for automatic irrigation – when it rains, it pauses the irrigation cycle and after the sensor discs dry, it automatically resumes it. Thanks to radio (RF) communication, it works with compatible RainPoint controllers and offers adjustable rainfall sensitivity (3–19 mm) for more precise and more water-efficient watering.
RainPoint HCS044FRF is a wireless rain sensor designed for RainPoint garden irrigation systems. As soon as it starts raining, the sensor immediately sends a signal and irrigation stops – helping prevent soil overwatering and unnecessary water waste. After the rain stops, operation is restored automatically as soon as the hygroscopic elements dry (no manual reset).
You can set rainfall sensitivity in four levels, so you can easily adapt the system’s behavior to plant type and local conditions. The ventilation ring also allows you to influence the drying speed, and therefore how quickly irrigation starts again.
