Compact XTAR SC1 charger for 3.6/3.7 V Li‑ion cells offers three-stage microprocessor charging TC/CC/CV, charging current up to 2 A, and power from a standard USB power source. It also includes reactivation of deeply discharged cells as well as safety protections against short circuit, overheating, and reverse polarity. Price is for 1 piece of the charger.
Fast and gentle 2 A charging with TC/CC/CV
Microprocessor-controlled three-stage TC/CC/CV charging and charging current up to 2 A ensure fast top-up while also treating the Li‑ion cell gently. Charging ends automatically at 4.2 V.
Support for many Li‑ion cell formats (including protected)
The charger is designed for 3.6/3.7 V Li‑ion cells in various sizes: 18650, 18700, 20700, 21700 (also protected), 22650, 25500, 26650. The single-slot design is ideal for travel and everyday use.
Reactivation of deeply discharged cells and safety protections
XTAR SC1 can attempt to reactivate deeply discharged cells, including cells at 0 V (if they are not permanently damaged). Protections against short circuit, overheating, and reverse polarity are included as standard.
XTAR SC1 is a professional single-slot charger in a small body, designed for safe and gentle charging of Li‑ion batteries. The controlled processor and TC/CC/CV method keep the cell in good condition thanks to the correct current in each phase and ending the charge at the right moment.
How TC/CC/CV works:
- TC: cells discharged below 2.9 V are “woken up” with a lower current.
- CC: after reaching 2.9 V, it charges with a constant current of 2 A.
- CV: near full charge, the current decreases until reaching 4.2 V on the cell – charging is then complete.
The charger considers batteries with a voltage of 4.1 V and higher to be charged. To top up to maximum, insert the battery into the charger before connecting power. Cells left in the charger naturally self-discharge and charging will start again when the voltage drops below 4.1 V.
XTAR SC1 can also reactivate deeply discharged cells, including cells at 0 V (if they are not permanently damaged). The package includes a USB–USB‑C cable; the power adapter is not included – use any USB charger (recommended min. 2.1 A) or a computer USB port. Price is for 1 piece.
