The charger can be powered from any USB-C charger, USB adapter, or from a computer USB port (min. 0.5 A). The compact body is ideal for travel and for carrying in a bag.
The processor-controlled three-stage TC/CC/CV mode charges safely: waking deeply discharged cells (below 2.9 V), charging with a constant current of 0.5 A, and final top-up to 4.2 V with decreasing current.
The adjustable contact allows charging a wide range of unprotected Li-ion cells—from smaller formats up to 18650, 20700, and 21700 (according to the compatibility listed below).
The XTAR MC1C (USB-C) charger is a professional single-slot charger for Li-ion rechargeable batteries. Thanks to processor control, it charges gently and accurately, and it is ideal for travel—small dimensions and it can be powered from a common USB-C charger, USB adapter, or a computer USB port (recommended minimum 0.5 A). The manufacturer XTAR is known for an emphasis on the quality of materials and electronics, and the chargers have CE certification for the European market.
TC/CC/CV is a three-stage Li-ion charging process that helps keep the cell in good condition: first it safely “wakes up” a deeply discharged cell, then charges with constant current, and finally tops up to the target voltage with gradually decreasing current.
Main benefits and functions:
Note on topping up: cells with a voltage of 4.1 V and higher may be evaluated by the charger as charged. To top up to maximum, insert the battery into the charger before connecting power. Charging will start again when the voltage drops below 4.1 V.
Package contents: charger, USB-C cable, and protective case. Power adapter is not included.
