QIDI Box is designed for Plus 4 series printers and serves as a practical hub for working with multiple filaments at the same time. Thanks to four separate channels, it enables smooth switching between colors and materials and makes it easier to print complex models without frequent manual intervention. Each channel has its own stepper motor (type 42) and a feeding mechanism with dual hardened-steel gears, so it can handle selected composite filaments as well.
It also includes the simultaneous drying and printing function – the chamber keeps the filament in optimal conditions (up to 65 °C), and thanks to the airtight space and the option to use desiccant, it helps reduce moisture, which negatively affects print quality especially for hygroscopic materials. You can monitor temperature and humidity in real time on the display and in QIDI Studio software.
Key features and benefits:
Compatibility notice: Not every 1.75 mm filament is compatible. The system does not support, among others, TPE, standard TPU, TPU 95A, QIDI PAHT-CF, wet PVA/BVOH, some Silk materials (including PLA Silk), glow-in-the-dark PLA, and other materials that are either too stiff or, conversely, too flexible.
