The Firesco FCO-850 SA carbon monoxide detector is intended for households and areas where there may be appliances producing CO (e.g., gas boilers and heaters, gas stoves, oil and coal appliances, portable heaters, combustion appliances, fireplaces, tiled stoves, etc.). The device continuously monitors the concentration of carbon monoxide in the surrounding air and, when the permitted level is exceeded, alerts with a red LED and a loud 85 dB alarm.
Operation is simple thanks to the Test / Silence button, which allows you to verify the device’s functionality and silence false alarms. Built-in self-diagnostics continuously monitors the condition of the batteries, sensor, and internal circuits; in the event of a fault, it indicates it with a yellow LED and corresponding audible signaling.
The detector is powered by 2× AA alkaline batteries (1.5 V), so it provides protection even during a mains power outage. After 10 years from power activation, the device will remind you that replacement is required. It is manufactured in accordance with EN50291-1:2018, and compliance is documented by a certificate from an independent European testing body.
