It attaches to the open side of the umbrella and instantly expands the possibilities of your lighting setup – the umbrella behaves like a simple softbox and the light is noticeably softer.
The translucent material effectively diffuses the light and reduces overexposure, making the illumination appear more even and more flattering for the photographed subject. It is especially suitable for portraits, but also for other situations where you want soft shadows and a natural look.
