The Opinel N°02 VRI Keychain pocket knife combines traditional French craftsmanship with practical dimensions for carrying on a keyring. The smooth Yatagan-shaped blade, inspired by the traditional Turkish saber, has a convex grind for high strength and easy resharpening. The knife opens using the nail nick in the blade.
The stainless steel blade provides good sharpness and high resistance to wear. The patented Virobloc rotating ring made of stainless steel allows the blade to be locked in the open position for safe use and in the closed position during carrying.
The handle is made of varnished PEFC-certified beechwood sourced from sustainably managed areas of the Jura and Vercors regions. Beech is hard and durable, with a characteristic light color ranging from yellow to pinkish, accented by fine dark lines.
